I have had both and I have to go to the Zeiss for only one reason.....the brighter viewfinder.

The ZI is a great camera. Here is my two cents on it:

Well, you asked for why you shouldn't do it, so here's the reason: the negatives are too small.
Other than that the ZI is a fine camera, on par with the equipment you're using now. I enjoy occasionally using a Hasselblad, but it's a heavy, cumbersome antiquated pig compared to the nimble little Zeiss. I love shooting with the ZI. It will definitely give you a different look to your work; whether you like it or not is up to you. Good luck!
