I want Rodinal, I repeat three times

This nasty chemical cannot be shipped overseas in liquid form? How about in powder form? Has anyone ever heard of Rodinal formula powder available in any photo stores or websites? Please let me know. I would love to have it because I've always heard of its good performance. Thanks:bang:

macodirect.de has Rodinal (R09 - it's the same thing) packed specially for air transport. It's the dual 500 mL pack. It's about the only easy way to get Rodinal in Australia too.

Yes, the sodium hydroxide converts acetaminophen to para-aminophenol, & the sodium metabisulphite is used to neutralise excess sodium hydroxide & stabilise the product.
The only problem with using tablets is the slurry of pharmaceutical excipients (=inactive & sometimes insoluble ingredients used in tablet making)at the bottom of the solution; you need to decant off the supernatant after allowing the sludge to settle

You could try Gainer's EZ-Rodinal if you can source some p-aminophenol, a common lab chemical and quite cheap as developing agents go. You don't need the hydrochloride.

Yes, and I have some, but that is, although similar, not the Rodinal I need. Blazinal and R09 One Shot are the same formula as the Rodinal that AGFA made immediately before their demise, while Foma R09 produces results more like older Rodinal formulae. It matters to me because I have some old negatives and procedures I want to match, and the Foma R09 doesn't seem to last as long. If I buy a litre from Maco, each bottle lasts me about 2.5 years, longer than the Foma lasts once opened.

The Fomadon R09 (New) is also Rodinal/R09 one shot. The previous older stuff was old type Rodinal from Calbe (former OrWo DDR chemical factory), R09. (Dilutions 1+20; 1+40 etc. instead of 1+25; 1+50 etc.)
The problem in (air-) shipment is the Sodium Hydroxide in Rodinal. So it will need special packing and the amount of shipping will be limited.
