i know, a goofy thought for an old ugly guy…but i have been using man bags ever since i discovered an army surplus store in nyc as a kid.
they seem to make so much sense to me as i like to carry a lot of stuff.
even now as an old fart i still carry stuff with me…the few times i might leave home empty handed i always feel like i'm missing something.
i'm the guy who stops at all the leather bag stores in the mall, the university bookstores, camping stores/outdoor stores,mountaineering stores…you get the idea…and am always checking out what's out there.

Humm...good question. I think you know the answer already though. Being a woman, I only have 4 purses, and almost never carry my camera in a bag.. But, i think you may be a purseaholic type of woman (if you were a woman) - so, just embrace it 🙂

I just heard a very similar comment from my GF.
I have a bag for each of the cameras I use regularly and a few others for Computer camera combo. Or other tools if I'm doing carpentry on a particular day.
I don't see the harm in it. Very few are expensive and all are very functional.
Other than an ONA and a New Shibata and one cutsom Bag from Robin Porteen... all of my bags are just bags rather than camera bags.
This is one of my Favorites. Mine is a Tobacco colored one. I have another style from these guys too! 😀
