Hi all!

I've aquired a mint Industar 61 LD with rear cap (fed 5b) from the evil bay. It wasn't expensive at all (10$) but that was three years back in time. Yesterday I decided to give it a try -after urgent CLA (it was stiff as hell). Here are the results!

1st at 3,5 1/60

2nd at 2,8 1/60

3rd at 5,6 1/60

The lens seems to perform quite good, I'm kinda surprised :)

I love the I61 LD -- sharp as a tack and tons of contrast. Don't let the low price fool you; it's a very good lens.

unfortunately I don't. the viewfinder is in the cold shoe and rangefinder in my hand. it's not 100% accurate but ok. need a Zeiss Ikon SW :)

That lens is one of the hidden gems of the photographic world. I have two of them, and old panda and the more modern L/D. For the money they cost, the quality of picture is absurdly good. I'm glad you're pleased with it!

My avatar was taken with that lens.
It was in poor condition and I let it go because I don't love 50mm. Something very nice about them though.

I love the I-61. I tend to use my example exlusively for color. I keep it on the FED-3 it came with. Wonderful performer. I like the first shot the best, but can't explain why.

Take a look at how sharp the I-50 50mm/3.5 is:

They are almost too sharp, good for kids portraiture and old "character"faces!!
This is mine

I bought mine"new" from Cameramate a few years ago to replace my damaged I-61

The shot below was taken at closest focus, full aperture and 1/60 as the light was poor. The VDU does not do it justice, I have an A3 size print and every tiny cobweb is sharp!!!
