After buying about 10, and trying another 10 bags for M / Hexar / RF cameras, I finally came across the ideal one. It's about 9" x 6" x 4.5" but is not rectangular, so the very top more like 5" wide. it's shaped like a backpack for a teddy bear. 2 zippered pockets, heavy canvas with padding.

I have a few I can sell to rff folks for $12 + $5 USPS Priority mail by verified paypal to 48 states only.

They come in off white, red, and black. Pics attached with an audio cassette for perspective.

Is it padded inside to carry camera + mounted lens + extra lens ?
Also, are there shoulder straps like in a backback ?
And, would local pickup be OK for you ?

Thanks,

Roland.

Hey Roland

Hey Roland

It is padded for a camera and lens, no longer than a short 35 or 50mm as long as you don't put anything hard in the front smaller pocket.

There are no dividers, or internal compartments, well those little map pockets inside, and the front zippered section, but there is room for addl lenses, depending on size, and how you compartmentize/wrap your lens. Mainly a lot of room with an M size and room for a WA and a lot of rolls of film!!

fwiw, I can fit my *ist DL with 18-55 zoom in it, but it's a tight fit, so I'm keeping that in my bigger bag.

I'm traveling now, but I can pretty much guarantee, there are none of these in any bay area camera or electronics stores that I've seen in the past year.
