Ideas for a raised shutter release button on an XA

Anyone have any ideas for creating a raised shutter release button for an Olympus XA?

The one thing that bugs me about the camera is that it is sometimes hard to feel the shutter release when shooting quickly. The sliding motion of the lens cover doesn't cover the button so sticking something on top wouldn't be a problem.

I was thinking maybe something like a stick on rubber foot like what comes on the bottom of a stacking external hard drive but that might easily fall off. I'd like to have something more like the shutter release on a Contax T.

It wouldn't take more than the tiniest bump for your finger tip to locate the shutter release button by feel. Try putting a piece of tape with a small foreign object underneath it on the button. That should work.

just glue a leica red dot on top of the red shutter release to give you a raised shutter release and make your XA more leica-like 😀

My god, mine fires off too easily (almost if I just blow on it!) and I was wondering how to create something so I would not mistakenly fire off images when I don't want to!
