Dear Board,

I apologize if this question has been covered. I tried to search with little luck.

I know all the easy ones like Nikon F, Canon FD/FL and Pentax M42 and K because I have cameras with those lens mounts.

What I am wondering is there a source either here, or on the internet, that identifies lenses by their mounts?

Regards,

There is a guide at West Yorkshire cameras, but their website is down for a shop move and maintenance.

Mind you, they mistook a Praktina mount for an Exacta on a lens I bought, but I found it out in the end...

I applaud Rick for this list however it isn’t complete at all.
What about a fresh thread where everyone could upload a photo of a mount ?
Later there could be a downloadable list in pdf format...

Again, thank you!

Again, thank you!

Google "lens mount identification." Besides Oleson's there is a comprehensive three-part guide from KEH: <https://www.keh.com/blog/the-lens-mount-guide-part-1/>, <https://www.keh.com/blog/the-lens-mount-guide-part-2/>, and https://www.keh.com/blog/the-lens-mount-guide-part-3/.

I guess I was looking in the wrong places, or using the wrong search terms, but now it looks like things are pretty well covered for me!

Thanks,
