Identifying a 5 element Anastigmat

Apologies if this has been covered before!

I have a 50mm F3.5 Leitz Anastigmat, and was wondering if there was any way to identify if it is the 4 element, or 5 element version...

There's no serial number on the lens

Huh? The Leitz Anastigmat lenses were precursors of the Elmar. All were 4-element lenses. The 0-Series (from 2000?) had a recomputed Elmar, also 4 elements. The early Leicas with these lenses did not have interchangeable lenses.
