I currently have an exhibit at the Apopka History Museum. It will be there through the month of February which is Black History Month. This work is from my "South Apopka - Religion" series.

This exhibit is 3 prints and a 15" digital photo frame playing a looping 48 image slide show with accompanying gospel music I recorded during a service at one of the Pentecostal churches featured in the series.

If any of you come to this one and I am in town, I will buy you a beer just for showing up.

Wish I could see it! Not gonna make it down south anytime soon, but I congratulate you for your accomplishment! You've a link that I can check to see the artwork online? Congrats, Andy

Well, a bit early for us as surgery is pending in a week or so. I do plan on going down to New Smyrna or farther South this summer, though and I will definitely give you a call to meet up!🙂

Since we here in Minnesota are heading back into the deep freeze for a few days, I'd love to take a trip down to Florida; however, I still "work' for a living.

Checked out your website, like your images...

I wish I could drive over, Bob.
Good luck with the exhibit.

I will try to meet up with you in my next trip to south Florida.

Raid: actually my current exhibit at Ole Miss is much better and closer. But I certainly do not expect you to drive there either.

Do give me a note when you are heading through here.

Bob

The 48 photo - 3 1/2 minute slide show with music recorded at one of these churches can be seen here for those who have interest but not in the central Florida area. The images in the 3 prints are included in the slide show.

Any plans to do a exhibition tour in Texas, Bob? 😀

Find a nice venue and send me a contact person. Exhibits seem to be a who you know, who knows you, and referral endeavor. I find that universities or community galleries work best. Most for profit galleries tend to shy away from me because I do not sell my work so there is nothing in it for them. My economic model for exhibits is simple "I don't pay you and you don't pay me" the same as when I photograph.

I don't know what is more inspirational; your artwork or the fact that you provide art for the community and don't sell it! Kudos to you!
