What a neat Picture taken' machine!!! I have never seen one of these. Would certainly be interesting, and easier than sliding my Rollieflex back and forth to get stereo slides (or photos). 😎

Looks like a Nimslo on steroids!!!
The Nimslo was made in my city, I still have one unused in my cupboard, they were sold off cheap when the factory closed!!

Someone gave me a Nimslo a while back. I haven't used it much and in fact have toyed with the idea of turning it into a dedicated pinhole camera... I had no idea where it was made, that's pretty neat.

Some people still use them for stereo pics by ignoring the centre two frames of each set of four. They were made in the Timex / Polaroid camera factory in Dundee, but had difficulties with customs duty when they tried to import them into Japan, they then sub-contracted to a Japanese firm to manufacture them there, but financial problems caused the whole set up to collapse. Several members of my family worked on the production lines.

I think it would be a lonely place to hang out. That is a neat camera, though. I'm trying to understand the purpose of the third lens (the one on top). It doesn't look like it is in position to expose the film...Hmmm...?

It's not whether that price is realistic or not. It's whether it's I'm prepared to pay it for it. I'm not, so I find it expensive. Besides, anyone who thinks $1200 is not that much money to begin with, has more money (or less brains) than he needs. 🙂
