If you don't like the hood for the Canon EF 35mm f/2...

I have been annoyed to no end with the fiddly, easily-knock-offable nature of Canon's hood for their EF 35mm f/2 lens. This weekend I replaced mine with a Nikon HN-3 metal, screw-in shade and I couldn't be happier with it.

And no, the lens didn't burst into flames.

I use the same hood with my Yashica Electro 35 GX... My excuse is that the original Yashica hood is impossible to find.
