Dear RF forum shooters ...

The RD-1 was recently sold .... I'm missing it a bit already.

So, lets say you hit the lottery for 5K!

Assuming you have NO RF CAMERA at this point:

Get an M8 + 35mm Leica lens ( or maybe a 25/40 cv pair)
Get an M9 and find the money for a lens
Sorry, gave up on RF for a reason, get a D800 or
just go on a trip!

Well, I did not hit the lottery, but I did sell off the RD-1 as I said, and that is almost exactly what an Oly OM-D set me back.

I am still rangefinder-less (digital) and with the 2X crop factor on the OM-D, my 25 and 40mm are just not what I want to shoot ....

I still have some gear to move around, and it is looking like the rumored D600 will be the next winner!

Any one want to buy a MFDB?

... and if the $5k was all I had to spend...
hmmm... lemme see: $5k is about 3.9 k€ right now. Does not really sound that much and will not buy my current kit back.

So, I think I would spend:
about 1.0 k€ on a Zeiss Ikon ZI,
about 0.9 k€ on a ZM 28/2.8,
about 0.6 k€ on a ZM 50/2, and
about 1.4 k€ on film and developing (200 rolls of Kentmere 100, 200 rolls of Kentmere 400, plus 8 packs of Xtol).

This would last me roughly 8 years at my current going rate...
