I bought something from them years ago. Don't remember what it was (probably a Leica M lens), but I do remember I was happy with the purchase and subsequently checked with them for items whenever I was in the market for something Used.

It showed up today and I cannot tell it apart from new. these new are almost $300 (if I include tax) so I am very very happy.
I'm going to be using Igor again.
$133 vs $300...
When I used Leica stuff, I used to get stuff here at times.

Another plus for Igor. He did a return for me awhile ago, no questions asked, instant refund, with apologies. Stand-up guy when stuff happens.

I couldn't resist. I guess I just meant that I thought it was a good source for Leica stuff at the time I needed it. I generally use more modern / fixed lens digital equipment otherwise... Sony, Fuji, Ricoh, Nikon G, etc.

I don't blame you. But I think that others may have thought that Igor was for RFs/Leica only. At least that is what I thought!

I learned he is not very good with email. I've repeatedly asked for photos of some of his items but he never replied. Just bit the bullet and asked for the camera described as mint. Then he replied with a paypal invoice.
He emails me a tracking number a couple of days later but after three days the item hasn't been shipped yet (dropped at the PO). Hard to deal especially if you are not from the US.

I've both bought and sold to Igor. I was in the photo business for 36 years and he is one of the most trustworthy people that I've ever known. If you have a problem with anything that you buy from him and he isn't responsive to the problem it means he did not get the message.

I've met with him dozens of times (as he does live in my area) and I have nothing but the highest regard for Igor. He is my number one go-to in terms of gear! Very knowledgeable and stands behind his items. I've bought probably 20 items from him and have been nothing but 100% satisfied.
I couldn't recommend anyone higher... although I'd say Camera West is right up there with him.
