The test shots from my new IIIa are in. I used an el cheapo roll of Polaroid film. The camera shop was shot at Henrys Newmarket f3.5 @ 1/25. The others were shot a f8 @1/250. They are un edited other then a resise and a scan job on my canon flat bed scanner.

So what do you think of the camera and lens? (Hard to reach any conclusion looking at a computer screen at 72dpi.)

I need to run a better roll of film through it. The meter seams to be fairly close. I like the condition of the camera and lens. The chrome on the lens is very nice. Not sure I like the focusing wheel and I keep putting my fingers in the RF window.

I remember looking through a Kiev (Contax clone) viewfinder for the first time and not seeing any rangefinder patch at all. Thinking that the camera was defective, I removed it from my eye and looked at the front of it, and noticed my fingers in front of the RF window. :)
