I will look at the IIIg, etc. as well given the talk about them here. I don't know what to do, I just want A Leica to add to my very small collection of currently 1 camera.

The IIIg is probably the most userfriendly LTM Leica out there but it does come with a price tag as collectors favour it and fewer units were produced.

For great cameras - for using as well as fondling - you may want to look at either a iiic or a iiif. Both of amazing quality and still capable users.

And you'll end up saving a 6-700 dollars compared to what a IIIg would set you back.
