It probably depends on the subject. With scanning the grain is big for sure. It tames down with a wet print. Fantastic developer, and you can play with it to get what you like. I don't shoot anything bigger than 35mm these days but I'll bet it comes into it's own w/ bigger negatives. Personally, depending on the subject again, I love it even for 35mm, but it looks real different than my usual D76. People say to shoot it w/ slow film, but I use it w/ Tri-X.
