Ilford XP2 - develope at home?

Hello,

I did not develope a single film before. Now I have a question. Is it possible to develope Ilford XP2 super 400 at home like classic b/w film? Or is that not that easy?

I already developed XP2 in HC-110... I got acceptable (to me) results, but why not develop at C-41 at the nearest store?

C41 at home is easier than you might think.

You need a bucket of hot water, and a kettle of VERY hot water for keeping the temperature in the bucket where you want it.

Otherwise, it's much like normal (non-chromogenic) development, but faster. Different chemistry, it's true.

Yes, it is possible (use the search function, has been discussed before).
Yes, it is easy.

Not sure it is worth it. Stick with conventional film for home developement.

You are in Bremen? Take it to Dose 😀 and give 'em an euro for C41.
