OK Magnus, you've been letting a few bits of info out, so now we know more. At the beginning of the thread I thought you'd already decided and that we were playing a guessing game.
So, you like:
28
35
50
75
90
Someone mentioned the Zeiss Sonnar 85/2. I haven't seen any shots taken with this (maybe there are some on the Zeiss website?) but I guess it will be pretty good.
I have the Summilux 75 and the Elmarit 90. The 75 does after all seem fairly close to the 50. It's also very big and heavy. A very nice lens, but not one I'd lug around normally(*). As a portrait lens, my Contax Zeiss Planar 85/1.4 is my favourite. What I'm
trying to say here, is that the Zeiss 85/2 would be a pretty good alternative to the 75/1.4 AND 90/2.8.
You adore the Summilux 50 ASPH (sorry about misreading your first post :bang: ) so get that.
The 35 is indeed, as I have recently found out, an excellent focal length for street shots.
If you want to be minimalist, then stop there. If you can't stop thinking about the 28, well - then you're not as minimalist as you would like to be

No shame in that - lots of us have (or at least want) more than two lenses.
So there you go:
(28), 35, 50, 85. On THREE SC MPs
Basta!
colin
(*) alright, actually I *do* lug it around normally

(but I wouldn't if I were normal) along with ZM25, ZM35, Summicron 50 and Elmarit 90, the M7 and the M3. All in a Domke 802 (bigger than the 803).
