elsewhere on the forum, i wrote earlier today, that folks were too concerned with full frame digital sensors...this coming from the guy who was about ready to sell his soul for the new sony rx1.

later that day...

i went out to the local camera shop to buy a flash for the fuji and to look at the grip for the xp1...my luck, no flash yet but the grip felt great on the camera, was light enough not to make a difference...bought it.

naively asked about the xe-i and when it might be arriving...it's here, now? you've sold a few already? can i see one?

omg, it feels so good in the hand, perfectly sized though the lenses seem larger now...that efv is so bright and not too bad lag...only 999? and it comes with a free copy of lightroom too?

bought it!

Congrats. A lens on each body :D that was pretty quick. Two lenses and two bodies in span of less than 2 months?

The LR included must be a local Fuji Canada promotion. I do not remember seeing such in the US.

with two bodies you can shoot one in colour and the other in bw :)
Congratulations on your decision! I'll look forward to hearing your opinion of the XE-1. I'm sure after all the good reports there'll be no buyers remorse..

it was not advertised here either...they were out so i wont have it till tomorrow or monday though.

i was wrong...just checked the shop's website and found this...

i doubt that i'll suffer from owning the xe-1...plan on keeping the 18 on it...

The RX1 is going to be a milestone camera, but as I said in the other thread, APS-C is the new full frame. I just don't see a need to spend the extra money for the larger sensor.

Really looking forward to the X-E1...would like the 18-55/2.8-4 and the 35/1.4. :)

Enjoy, Joe! Digital cameras are getting better and better, and closer to what I may be able to live with one day.
