Mmmmm, never heard of it. What's up?
I spent a lot of time souping Panatomic-X in Microdol to get rid of that organic screen.
anyway- film vs digital at it's most emotional and narrow-minded point of view.
But still film vs digital, and we have that forum here at RFF.

Laughing out loud. Literally.
Moving my mini-rant by way of a world famous cinematic quote to the Film vs. Digital Forum is a classic.
Nothing could have been further from my mind. The aforementioned quote was a gut reaction to the general state of affairs anywhere but here at RFF. My way of avoiding politics, religion, etc.
A failed attempt to get responses from the membership. "What are you mad about these days?"
On second thought, "What are you glad and happy about these days?"
In my case, less than 90 days to the first day below 100F in Texas.

Talk about relegated to oblivion. Updates here don't show up on the Home page.

That's what I'm talking about.
Hey, Chris, can you send us some cool Arizona air?
Maybe that is what I'm mad about: 2 years above 100F and no end in sight. OK, it's really 2 months+. Feels like forever.

Perhaps I won't be mad much longer.

The rain was a mirage. 108F shortly after. Then 105F.
It's a shame the east coast got all the rain. We would have taken some.
Looking for new things to be mad about every day.
Grinning. Not really. Just kidding.

Wayne, based on the temps you're giving you may soon have to change your sig line from rain forest to dust bowl ;D

Doesn't even get that hot here in Arizona. Plus we've gotten eight inches of rain since July 1, and when it rains temps drop into the low sixties Not trying to make you envious or anything like that...

Amen Brother! I may do that soon.
The good news: While the levels in the big reservoirs around Houston, Austin, Dallas, etc. are rapidly falling, the level of the little spring fed lake in my backyard is stable. The Jet Ski Demons should be gone by Monday. Life is good!
Ted,
Did some of that rain put out the nasty fires? Hope so.
I have been to Bisbee! I was stationed at Fort Huachuca and would go to Douglas & Bisbee when I could get a weekend pass.

It's been referred to as a liberal oasis in a conservative desert.
As for the nasty fires, we finally contained them (I worked five 12 hour days as an Arizona Ranger) after they'd burned many, many homes, etc. And about 10 days later the rains started.
Bad timing.

I remember a canyon with a street on the floor of the canyon and stairs & houses & mailboxes clinging to the sides of the canyon. Is that Bisbee?

Yes, that is Bisbee, houses clinging helter skelter to the sides of canyons. So steep there is no home mail delivery. You have to go down to post office on main st. after 10:30 AM when alll the mail is put up, so it's a great place to socialize.

OK, I guess I was wrong about the mail boxes. One of those places I need to get back to.
