I activated that annoying check word that appears below, as I had some trouble with spammers filling it with spam ads...

I've tried several times, and a message returns saying 'comments held for approval,' or something like that. Did you make the change recently? Because this was about a week ago.

Problem solved, I forgot to activate the new comments notification option :bang:

Note that I'm in the process of transitioning to a subdomain instead of the main domain with my photoblog. Since I'm going to be hosting a few people and have some plans for the domain itself I figure that it's time to move my stuff away from the top level. I'll be moving things completely to the URL in my signature eventually, but for now there is an image dump at that URL and the blog is still at the top level domain. I'll edit the post here and join the ring once I get myself situated.
