I'm crazy! 😱 Here's what I acquired since saturday. I really can't control myself!

On saturday I was in a camera expo and I bought the Zorki 3C with J-8 and a J-9 and Kiev 4A with J-8M.

Next day I visited my friend who brought me the Zorki 1 with I-22 from Prague (where he studies).

And finally today - the greatest surprise: I rescued a Zeiss Sonnar from the dust of shelves in a local camera shop. It was burried between lots of enlarging lenses from Meopta with the fron facing down - so nobody noticed it was in fact a pre-war uncoated collapsible Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar for Contax! The shop assistant thought it was just another CZJ post war lens and sold it for price of Praktica 50mm lens!

Don't know about the rest, but the Sonnar is a keeper 😉

Now the pictures:

And the Sonnar...

Someday I'll visit Slovakia (I have a good friend who's from Bratislava) and I'll try to coincide my visit with this camera show 😉

Congratulations! the Kiev is sharp-looking and the Zorkin looks very clean.

I'm torn between Zorki 4 and 3, I don't know which one I like more (shape-wise).

In fact both the Zorkis are pretty dirty and rough... but for me, the restoring is part of the fun 🙂

In fact the camera show was more like electronics show with a couple of camera sellers. Last few times it was only Prakticas and M42 lenses... This time there were more cameras - including the Z-3C and K-4a. Some things I noticed but didn't buy included FED-5, Yashica Electro 35, some Exactas and Prakticas... and some dark room equipment. I also bought a developing tank for 2×35mm but with only one reel 🙁
