I have two Fuji Six folders, I about a month ago, let another model go more because I fell asleep that I wan't willing to pay the price. That would have given me three different models. But I still have two to play with and take photos with.

Then along came Jones ... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=200230728646&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=010 and GAS was with me again. I really did want that.

Imagine, a Fujica 6 folder with coupled rangefinder. Wow! I amost bumped, but I think the price was a little more collecter than user. And I like to use mine, not sit them on a shelf. Maybe I am wrong, but regardless, I just couldn't go that high.

Oh well ... sigh

Hey fujica man :)
I'm with you totally on the emotional roller-coster, no, not for the fujica, it's for another one by the same seller: 200231769917

Watch it, this will go insanely high as well, even though it's broken :p

Shadowfox - You are no doubt right. It will go for an insane price and sit unused on somebodys shelf.

BTW, is there anything Olympus didn't make? They made 35mm RF (fixed lens and interchangable as I recall), SLR, ZLR, digital, 6x6 RF, and now I see TLR. I suppose there must be a 4x6 hiding out there somewhere?

That's one allure of Olympus to collectors, whether it's intentional or not, they have a complete lineup of camera from every style and whatever was "fashionable" at that time, they have one.

Notably in the half-frame format, Olympus has one gem in there, the Pen-F SLR series. Olympus also at some time made the lens for Mamiya Six (not the modern Mamiya 6) folder RF cameras.

I don't know if there's ever an Olympus 4x5 stuff, but if they did have them, they would probably be excellent lenses.

You are right. I know about the half-frame and I have a Mamiya six (non-working at the moment) with the Zuiko lens. I had just forgotten about them. Now that you mention it, I think I have seen a couple of other cameras with Zuiko lenses.

I will have to dust off the old brain cells. I just don't recall now. I remember my curiosity when I saw them. I do remember it was on ebay. If I can get the brains cells hooked up again I will post it.
