Ok, so I cannot resist certain "deals" especially on films I like. In particular I've been loading up lately on bulk rolls of 35mm B&W films and filling my freezer often getting GREAT deals (like less than $1.00 USD a 36-exp roll for Kodak and Ilford stuff).
The other day I saw some of my favorite B&W film for auction, actually two 100' bulk rolls and I bid on them, a bit aggresively, and won. I paid for the auction immediately like I always do. Then I had some slight buyer's remorse. The price was pretty good (about 30% less than retail) but they were expired a couple of years and the price I paid was a tad higher than I had gotten most of my other expired bulk B&W film. But I figured, oh well, too late now, I'll just have to shoot more of this great film even though it's going to be a few more pennies a roll and I vowed to be more patient next time.
Then I got an email from the seller. He was so appreciative of my lightning fast payment that he threw another 100' foot roll of the same stuff in for free! Whoa! Price went down per 100' roll considerably now.
I feel good!!! 😀 😀 😀
