hi folks!

sorry for disappearing but believe me it was not by choice.

i have quite a few emails and p.m.'s, many that don't yet make sense as i have not read through the forum yet.

i don't know how to put this so i'll just say it...i had a heart attack.

spent 2 days in intensive care, one in a regular ward and talked the docs into freeing me today.
one of the nurses said i didn't quite have the widowmaker of heart attacks but my timing helped save me.

needless to say i'm tired and weak and at times very emotional.

it will take me a few trips to the computer to catch up with what's happening here.
i hope you all behaved...😉

I had mine three years ago and, except for some VERY miraculous events unfolding around it (THANK YOU, LORD!) it would have been my widowmaker! The emotional thing will be the worst part of this, so get some help to deal with it, preferably someone else who's had one too, as they're the ones who will best understand what you're going through. You'll be on my prayer list for sure! Get well!

did i miss any good deals while i was gone?

i just read through that very long thread and i'm truly touched.
there was no sign of forced entry so they must have been in contact with the caretakers who let them in.
a good friend of mine organized my life and dog while i was gone and then she took off on a holiday with my cell phone. i using a borrowed one for now 'in case' i need to make any emergency calls.

and btw, i'm not upset with anyone.

i may have to re-read that long thead, there were so many good lines in it.

ray, i'm no doctor and most of the explanations were over my head or maybe it was too many pain killers...my main artery was blocked and stopping blood from going into the 2 main parts of my heart, being an older gent my system has some seepage and so i was not entirely out of blood to the heart. (this make sense?)
they said the same heart attack on a youngun might have killed him but for older gent it wasn't so 'fatal'.
but it sure hurt like hell.

someone said something about the emotional impact and i am discovering that. i start crying sometimes. gonna take some getting used to.

ok, i have to go eat my low fat lunch now.
