i'm here!

Glad to have you back with us!

Take it easy now, will you? Do you have anyone to take care of you for a while, or shall we organize and find a nice green-eyed Irish girl to keep you company for a few days?

OTOH, it doesn't seem to be a good idea right now :)

Get well soon!!!!

it's going to be hard to keep people away so i can rest.
i always knew i had a good circle of friends but they really surprised me this week.

tho, i doubt i'd ever turn down a green eyed red headed girl...:)

So glad that you're back Joe. ;) There was really quite a bit of a commotion over those few hours you were away. Good that you're back on your feet. And have a good recovery. Relax and don't get those stress levels up. :)

I should have asked the very nice lady constable, what color hair she had.:)

Gasp! you forgot about her eye colour too! What if she does not have green eyes? :p

Very sorry to hear of this, Joe. Take care of yourself and take the medication I'm sure you have been given or will be. Consult the medics about the possibility of a stent, they work miracles in some cases. And the next time you come to New York, not more than one slice of pastrami, I'll see to that. good health and happy birthday.

hi folks!

i don't know how to put this so i'll just say it...i had a heart attack.

joe

Joe, I wish you to recuperate as soon as possible. This forum really benefits from your words of reason...

:(

Joe,

Glad to hear you're back and on the mend... I guess it was quite a life altering experience to say the least.

Rest up and get well and I echo all the "thank god you're ok" thoughts :)

Cheers

Joe - glad to hear you are ok.

I am as usual very late to this thread and the earlier connected one. I cannot help thinking the earlier thread, which is very dramatic and "in real time", could make a great basis for a movie. Any screen writers among the RFF members? I am sure we could think of some handsome leading actors as G'man and Joe. And as for the green-eyed redhead......

joe,

Let me add my heartfelt thanksgiving to the rest. I didn't have anything to say last night in the thread, but I was reading every post in pretty close to real time. I am very glad to have you back and I hope you have a swift and full recovery.

William

joe,

just wanted to drop in and say I'm sorry to hear what happened to you but also that I'm confident that this will be nothing more than one of those minor, inconvenient speed-bumps on the road of life.

But do be careful out there and take care

/R

Great to have you back Joe. Heart attack! Bloody hell! That's scary. Sounds like you need a decent holiday and to start taking care of yourself. Anyway, happy birthday too. And yeah, this mob got a little rowdy while you weren't here to keep an eye on them. I think we need you to stick around.

Welcome back Joe you had us worried for a while there.

Good to hear your on the mend and of course we behaved. Some of us will have to take the nude green eyed red head pictures off the gallery, but otherwise no problems for you to worry about ;)

Take it easy and we'll drink the beers for you until your recovered :D

Glad to hear you are fine Joe. That thread "Where's Backalley" probably holds the world record of "Thread with highest number of replies per hour"

And Happy birthday too!

:)

again, many many thanks to all.

kurt, i did have a stent put in and i can now add 4 or is it 5 new meds to my daily intake.

and word from rich! i am impressed and all it took was a heart attack!
many thanks rich, can we talk you into staying around?
lots of new folks who i think you would like.
