All Arista Premium in Diafine, shot with my Nikkor-S 50 1.4 on the Nikon FG.

In my opinion this is the best lens I own, and I wish I had something to equal it on my Bessa.

You should see the Nikon 50mm f1.2 some people whom I know have. Or the 85/f1.4 AF monster... Really nice, dreamy shots.

while I may not see the same special quality in the lens....keep posting stuff taken on the Arista Premium. It is good to see samples of this "new" film, and you seem to be ahead of the curve with it for sure.

Those shots (all very nice) really remind me of the results I get from the 1.4 Nikkor on my Nikon S2 rangefinder ... the OOf areas are a little crazy IMO but I must admit I like it. I gather the optical formula of the SLR lens and the rangefinder lens must be nearly the same?

Damn it ... I'm going to post a rangefinder pic in the Evil SLR forum! 😛

I also have one of those. Mine is AI'd and I shoot it on an F and F3P.
Beautiful lens, with beautiful signature, especially on a sunny day.
Does better with B/w than color
