I debated selling my Contax G1 and 45mm lens to raise money for a Zeiss Ikon. Instead I decided to finish completing the Contax system. I bought the 28mm a week ago and the 90mm should be in mailbox on thursday.
My girlfriend is gettin tired of me spending money on cameras and lenses. So, I decided to just buy more lenses for my G1 instead of a new more expensive Zeiss Ikon system. Its getting hard to justify my purchases. :angel:
The only thing I'm worried about is the autofocus going kaput. I'll worry about that when it comes though.

I don't think you should worry about your G1. There are plenty out there to replace if it happens. Or just upgrade to a G2. All your lenses would fit G2. For this price range and size, I think the Contax G is among one of the best setup out there. Enjoy.

That's why I bought a second G2 body If one go's kaput I buy an other one some were. By the way i've never had troubles with one of my contax stuff
