I'm off!

I'm off travelling in the morning, through north-west NSW, Cameron Corner, Innamincka, Birdsville, west across the Simpson Desert, Oodnadatta, then home through the Flinders Ranges and across the Hay Plain. About 5,000 kilometers for the round trip . Three weeks of travelling, and plenty of different scenery to enjoy, and hopefully be inspired to make photographs of.

I'll catch up with you all when I get back - don't wreck the place while I'm gone! 🙂

Will do. I have 9 rolls of Velvia 50 and plenty of B&W for the Hasselblad, and also a RRS pano head setup for the tripod, which I plan to use with the dSLR for some digital stitched panos. No rangefinder camera packed, as I don't want to end up simply playing with different cameras, rather than concentrating on images, and the photography planned demands SLR and MF rather than the unique qualities of the RF.

Good luck. Enjoy and stay safe. I drove 6,500 kms last year from Sydney to Darwin. It's a once in a lifetime trip.
