If I see him again, I'll definitely talk to him... And now please stop being judgmental. I did not portray the guy in a bad light and if people pocked fun at his lens, they did so in a good matured way. Sometimes we need to learn to laugh at ourselves and the guy with the bucket-lens is one of us.

I hope my post didn't sound judgmental, wasn't meant to be.

I've recently gone out shooting with my slr, which I hadn't done in a while and I did notice the weight difference. It surprised me actually.

I actually do that sometimes, but not around the neck. Long lens, short lens, RF with B&W and a Fuji F10 in the pocket.

Long lens on the mono, short lens on a shoulder strap (just found out about the Y-strap and R-strap) and I usually have a coat with large pockets and/or a pair of cargo pants. I have a number of pocketable RF's like the Oly XA, Leica IIIa w/ collapsible Elmar or Summar, even the 120 folders like the Moskva's fit easily into my cargo pants. My wintercoat has pockets that can easily hold any 35mm RF that I have.

Dude, you ruled on the CONTINENTAL. All I had was a dark green Varsity...

Wasn't too much difference between a Continental & the Varsity. Main differences as I remember were the centerpull brakes, quick release hubs, & the touring tires. The hot Schwinns every one wanted around here were the World Travelers.
