Like, when in Program mode, I was constantly switching back and forth to Shutter or Aperture priority for certain shots. Then I found out you can adjust the Program setting by use of the rear Control Dial. No more fumbling around looking for the right button to push.

After being refused access at an event where they obviously changed their plans, and didn’t tell anybody they weren’t going to open, I didn’t want to waste a good fog, so I drove over to Salem, VA where it’s always heavier. I wasn’t disappointed.

When the fog started to lift, I headed on over to the greenway alongside the Roanoke River to get some early autumn color. Not much to see, but the vines are always happy to oblige with a red display.

Nice photos Phil. Has the color maxed out up there yet? One more week for here. Pilot Mtn is suppose to be really nice. May head up that way & shoot some Ektar 100.

Not what I had hoped for, Greg, with all the rain we had this summer. I think that last heat wave stressed the trees too much, and they are just dropping without turning color in many places. I saw a lot of bare trees yesterday, which is much too soon.
