A place not far, a nice place to visit. I usually visit several times during the fall to watch the Salmon swim upstream, leap the falls, some native fish, many return to the hatchery. And after heavy rains the river rises and becomes very interesting.

thanks DwF,
the 1st one is more graphic and the space is more contained, and could have been emphasized more with cropping the top edge.
i'm just getting to know this lens, coming from the 16-50 which has a lot to offer in a small package, but not quite as much as the 18-55.

My 18-55mm was in the classifieds but I'm sending it back to the dealers just today, with the X-T1 in Graphite Silver.

Wasn't bonding with it, the differences between the A7 and X-T1 interfaces kept confusing me and the X-T1 left the house only a few times...

Oh well...

I thought I'd use an adapter and Leica glass on this XE-2 but find this lens performs so well that I haven't used adapted glass like I thought I would.

Thanks F16. Yes, they are wild donkeys that were left over from the mining in the country many, many years ago. You can go many miles without seeing another pair of donkeys and I never saw a single donkey just by itself.

John those images are fantastic. The new years' (?) contrasts quite a bit. Then the three frames of the coned peak.

The Fuji System shipping this lens as kit seems very balanced option, fast and versatile. I even saw refurbished new XE's for little more than the standalone lens.
I prefer m43 stance with IBIS and cheaper lenses BUT the Fujis are a very high quality general use stills cameras. Then there is the slower 16-50? That seems more standard (aperture 4-5.6).
