Although I missed a few shots of flying birds because the AF couldn't keep up adequately, this one wasn't too bad. Both pictures taken with the Fuji X-Pro2, and both shots taken at f/8.
Looks like it’s been several years since any posts and there aren’t many samples so I thought I’d post a few from a recent vacation. I bought a refurb 50-230 several years ago for a song and really fell in love with it. It’s light and relatively small and the IS works great. Image quality really is great up to about 200mm and then softens very slightly up to 230mm. Even beyond 200mm it’s still perfectly acceptable stopped down a little.
All images were shot on a XT-3 in ray and processed in Lightroom 6.14 after converting the RAF files to DNG in Iridient X.
