Important announcements for 2007

Hey Raftman - I was having a pop at:

The Lomographic Society and their outrageous prices
Leica M8 fetishists who won't admit that their expensive toy doesn't work

The great USSR camera factories were famous for generosity with their kits - always providing cases, filters, cable releases and sometimes film cassettes and screwdrivers (in the Photosniper). Western firms would have charged extra for all of this.

Also, I do dream on KMZ going back into the RF business. They really would produce something well made and excellent value. I know - I have crates of the old ones at home and love them all.

A friend who passed through Ukraine recently was able to to slip this by the authorities!

Sweeeet! Can you spell "User Friendly?" FINALLY!! It's about time someone realized that preview screens belong on the end of the camera rather than the back. duh. And does this come with a color co-ordinated wrist strap.... or a wheel barrow? Just curious. (Forgot to ask when ordering.) 🙄

But don't forget guys, once they come out and you've bought at least 20 of each kind, that doesn't give you the right to have fun with 'em. 😎

I can't see the CRT on the back of that lovely creature. I heard you could select between magenta and cyan.

I've also heard that it takes standard 12V car batteries instead of the specialist ones you get with the M8. And that it comes with a connector for downloading your images to an audio cassette.

I won't be getting one though, still happily using my Zorki MirD. My 50mm lens becomes a 350mm beast on this thing - I can see things that the human eye couldn't even imagine.
