Taking pictures is important to me.
Whether those pictures are important to anybody else remains to be seen.
If someone stumbles across a curled up old neg or print of everyday people doing everyday things in a long past era than maybe it will be hailed as an important social document, then again maybe it won't and I'll be long gone anyway.
Just as well I get some kind of odd pleasure from pointing a camera at people and things
