Impression from 1x.com books, first and now, second?

Ken Rockwell recommends second book compiled by 1x.com as very good but looking at cover I wonder what sort of pictures they promote. Teaser page shows some interesting pictures mixed with stock-type stuff. I'm not going to judge by a few thumbnail-sized pictures.

Anyone can offer opinion?
