OK, I know that the economic train wreck is still in progress, but I can hope, can't I?
In 2009, I would like:
1) an S-mount 50/1.5 Sonnar;
2) a converted 50/10.95 Canon LTM lens;
3) a 35 pre-asph Summicron; and
4) a 28mm lens in M-mount that could be a go-to street shooter.
Yeah, and if I had all the money in the world, I'd buy an Omega Speedmaster to boot.
RFF, throw caution to the wind. If you were not in economic-lockdown, what would be your 2009 RF acquisitions?

In 2009 I want to... use stuff I have to make photographs, instead of looking for new gear.

Use what I have more often.
Maybe thin the herd a little since I have too much stuff.

My M5s need red dots!
A newer Nikon AF 80-200 f2.8. I have one, but it's very old and heavy.
Also, a 2x TC in Nikon mount.
Leica gear? Nah, I'm very happy with all the stuff I already have.
Good weather too!
That'd be nice.

1. The new Olympus M4/3, if it has an EVF similar to the Panny G-1
2. 500 MM Zeiss Tele-Tessar for my Rollei SL66 system

a darkroom (which is in the process, so I guess doesnt count)
a Om-1n CLA'ed and adjusted for new batteries or a Om-4Ti may be nice and since I am dreaming, how about both.
FILM! and time to shoot it!

In 2009 I want a . . . .
... lot of money for long trips to some new places so I can shoot new environments.
... R-D1 for >$700 to tame the guilty "instant-gratification" monkey on my back (is 1.5something crop not a problem to all you users?).
... errr, stuff.
... oh yeah, a bunch of naked chicks to do some classy Hassie work.

I'd like a Mamiya 7 and a decent medium format scanner. Probably won't happen though.

I think this is the year that I will pick up a Leica body. Probably some flavour of M3, M2 or M4 and probably not until the second half of the year. I'll probably need a good fast 50 with it, too.

I'd like a wallet, one that always contained just enough money, to the exact penny, to pay for whatever it was that I was looking to purchase.
