In anticipation of an XP1

Hi all,

Looking to purchase an XP1, and need to figure what diopter I need. I have fine far vision, but use +2 reading glasses for near. Does that imply that I need a +2 diopter?

You will receive lots of advice.

I took the camera to the eye Drs. during a routine exam. I used the camera at the end of the the exam. She told me what diopter to buy.

I use a +3 diopter on my XP1. My reading prescription is +4. HTH

Voigtlander diopter is exactly the same/will fit the XP1 and at least here costs half compared to Fujifilm original.
(Actually it is the same diopter that fits Nikon film cameras like FM2 etc.)

Same here, over time I went from a +2 to a +3 although the prescription reads +2.5.
