Very attractive pictures and themes from the late photographer. Thank you for making us aware of Madeline de Sinety and her work.

Her style put me in mind of some of the collection of James Ravilious, pictures also made in a rural area but in the West of England. The DVD of an interesting short television film about Ravilious is also still available, or a low-resolution version can be seen here.

I'm really sorry to hear she died. I met her briefly in 1997. She was really lovely to me, even though I was just a young punk then.
