I'm surprised he didn't get popped. Entering a tunnel into New York City with a truck that is too big, ignoring stop commands, and being from Texas. That won't get you far.

Since everything is bigger in Texas, maybe he thought his truck had shrunk in NY.

I'd say his job was in the crapper now, but it seems he was hauling the crappers already.

Saw the pic and story in the NYT.

You have to admit - you've always imagined what would happen if some big rig driver ever did what this guy managed to do.

And guess what, you imagined correctly. The rig looks like a sardine can after its been opened!
