I have a beautiful Zorki 4 with J-8 lens, both made in 1963. Printed name, engravedshutter speed and strap lugs. This camera is one of my all time favorites!
You can see the camera here and some sample photos I made with it. on my flickr. site: Zorki 4/J-8 If you select zorki4 from my 'tag' list on flickr.com you see a series of zorki shots.

Zorkis are sure funny little critters. I recently inquired about a Zorki.4 body at the Bay that had both engraved dials and name + raised/embossed VF/RF windows. It was a 1966 model. So much for the "very early indicator" in my above post. Go figure. Apparently there has been a whole lot of parts swapping going on before, during and after production. So, for sanity sake, the main question... "Does it take good pics?" :) Mine does.
