I have a small stash of Kodachrome mailers which I will not be able to use before they are no longer honored at the end of the year. I have a few spoken for - but if anyone who needs them and will use them by 12-31, please let PM me (RFF Email does not work!)

I will send them free (no postage either). Priority given to Students and the Unemployed; US only.

Ok - all are probably spoken for. But I am making a last call for those priority groups above!

To all who responded via PM, I should get back to you to let you know by the morning. (My PM will fill up if I keep messaging!)

And again- sorry but US only, I am not sure if they are even valid outside the US.

Bummer, I've been shooting my university's home football games with film all season and the $10/roll processing is the only thing that kept me from breaking out my 4 rolls of Kodachrome :-(

A number of people here use Walmart - I think it is a lot cheaper...

Do they do Kodachrome? I know some of them use Dwayne for their mail out stuff, others use Fuji. I've tried dropping off 120 film to mail out and the people in the photo department were clueless and not at all helpful.

Don't think gdi meant to say that Walmart does Kodachrome. Just that it's a cheaper option for other processing. Don't want to take this off topic -- search the forum, there have been several threads. Basically, forget the counter people, they're clueless. Fill in the envelope and drop it in the box, it'll go to the nearest Fuji lab.

Dwayne's is the only place left in the world that processes Kodachrome. Their website FAQ currently says it'll be available through the end of 2010.

Actually I did mean Kodachrome. But my caveat is that I have not tried it! Here is a thread from last year that details how to do it, hopefully Walmart will still handle it.

Let Walmart/Sam's do it.

Walmart drill. Bypass the staff. Go directly to the film drop box. Fill out one envelope per roll. In special instructions list the film type. Include a phone number. They will call when the film returns. In the last 6 months I have used Walmart and Sam's Club to process 35mm & 120 & 220. Kodachrome. Velvia. Various C-41 films including 120 Ektar 100. For 120/220 C-41 I get develop only. I scan at home. In Texas a roll of 120 or 220 C-41 develop only is $0.84/roll @ Walmart and $0.46/roll at Sam's.

Wayne, I finally mailed your stuff too !

Send it directly to Dwayne's at:

Kodak Processing
c/o Dwayne's Photo
P.O. Box 1171
Parsons, KS 67357

If your in the US, total process is less than a week. I always stick the cartridge in the mailer and put the mailer into an envelope (Tyvek is my choice).

I tried once to use Walmart.
I specifically asked not to cut the roll, as I always do with Dwayne.
I got back all my films cut and mounted, and in each one of them a note saying that they don't have th emachines necessary to NOT cut the films and mount them. doh??

Was it an accident?
I never tried again...
