Pho Hien, downtown Saigon. A hidden gem of a 'pho' or noodle soup restaurant. If there would be Michelin stars for this type of restaurant, they'd have a few of them. They

Cueto, Cuba - my wife helping prepare dinner at her grandmother's house for a family gathering. Most Cuban kitchens are removed from the main living area to keep from heating the house. Many kitchens have a table outside a window so that tasks such as this can be done standing in the window.
