Nigel, once again I want to say how much I'm enjoying your India photos, especially the look of your film and processing. I wish I had the time and motivation to follow that route. I tried recently again after many years, but returned to digital. Still, I admire and envy the look you have here.
Love your signature quote also.

Thank you John....I've gone the other way. I shot mostly digital on this trip but have always struggled to enjoy the process and look and I'm more satisfied with my film results. For me it's worth the effort. I enjoy processing film and find Lightroom straightforward for tweaking scans.

Next time you're in Delhi, consider visiting Majnu ka Tilla. It's a huge Tibetan settlement along the Jumna River in Old Delhi. I discovered it on the last visit. It's like stepping into another country.
Here are a few slides from my visit there this year: http://www.johnwolf.net/p427108807/slideshow

Thanks for the recommendation, John. I was aware of the Tibetan settlement, but for some reason each time I've been in Delhi, I've not got up there. I should make the effort next time. I know what you mean about entering a different country. I had the same experience when I went to the Bylakuppe Tibetan settlement in Karnataka.
Thanks for the link to your pictures. I enjoyed the slide show

Fantastic set of photos. Been to Goa but that didn't feel quite like "proper" India. Must get to Varanasi one day....
