Industar-22 on a Fed-2?

It might not fit. What you need is FED 50/3.5 collapsible, without the classic button infinity lock. The I-22 and I-50 were intended for Zorkis, which have the lens mount sticking about 2mm from the front plate, while FEDs have the lens mount in level with the front plate. AFAIK.

I've used a I-22 on my Fed 2 without any problems. The combination looks very nice too 🙂

There is also a collapsible Fed 3,5/50 lens for the Fed 2. Collapsible Fed lenses made for the Fed 1 do not fit on my other FSU rangefinders, the infinity lock presses against the vulcanite.

My FED 2 is an early-ish one, with the flash socket on the body and the plain wind knob. I't won't take any collapsibles because the infinity button fouls the body; the lens mount is almost flush.

That's what I meant... but it seems that there are some versions that can take the I-22 and I-50.

Industar 50 works great on my late Fed2
