Industar 61 L/D focal length

I've noticed that the focal length for the Industar 61 L/D is 55mm, at least as listed on some E*ay auctions and another website.

What effect would this have if the lens was mounted on an M with a 50mm adapter? Or even another LTM camera with a viewfinder made for 50mm lenses?

Is the discrepancy negligible? Or are there considerations to be made when focusing and/or framing?
 
The discrepancy is negligible. If framing is so critical, then a rangefinder camera is probably the wrong tool.
 
I think that with FSU lense its a Lotery. My copy is sharper than my J8, and the bokeh is also sharp that makes it ugly (this is a personal taste issue). The lense DOF is usefull when you get to now the bokeh of your lense. I'm still experimenting with mine.
