Jim, your picture looks excellent. Is it a full-frame? Did you do something against the light-falloff towards the edges? I would expect a huge amount of "vignetting" with this classical Topogon-design having small glass...

R.HOOPER wrotes all early Canon WA show edge-falloff (sharpness). Yours looking quite good. Could be also a good choice for the RD-1.. or is the last element too close to the sensor?

Also, I think folks have learned that Jack's Camera Shop is a first-rate eBay seller. That's where I bought my Canon 28/3.5, and I was very happy indeed.

The scan of my grandson is about 90% full frame, only the far left and right edges are cropped out. I did nothing to adjust for light fall-off, what you see on the JPEG is what you see on the negative.

I question some of Hooper's assumptions. At times I wonder if he's actually used any of the Canon LTM lenses he writes about. As mentioned in the 50/0.95 thread on the RD-1, a lot of bad press on various lenses (Canon or otherwise) seems to be hearsay and not based on fact.
