I would advise against drying film on-reel in the name of avoiding curling. Hanging the rolls with an appropriate weight at the bottom (anything from a purpose-made weight for film drying to a wooden clothespin) will do the job. Hang the film in the most dust-free environment in your household (from my experience, the bathroom is the choicest spot, although I have the luxury of a hanging electric film dryer now).
