I only have a 50mm lens so far on .72x M, wanting to get a used 75/2 soon. Since I never have handled two lenses at the same time before, am I correct if I put on a 75mm, the frameline would be the same? If that is the case, what is the different between the inner frameline and outter frameline? Thx.

Cheers,
Mervyn

I have two new MP's with .85x, M6 classic .72x, M2 and M3. My only complaint about the MP and M6 are the partial frame lines on the bottom of the frames. In the .85x MP's it's the lack of bottom in a horizontal and the only slightly more frame line on the bottom of the 28 in the M6. I even called leica and DAG to see if i could get custom frames made. Unfortunately NO! So much of the bottom of the MP 35 frames is missing it makes it difficult to compose in a vertical particularly if you are shooting something with straight lines. I just purchased a new ZI and love the frame lines in it. They're on par with the old M2 lines but in a bigger better RF / VF.

Too bad the Ikons don't have a 75mm frameline though! Maybe Zeiss will include 75mm in the next generation, but I doubt it. They seem to be concentrating on wides.
