foo was here
I know you didn't. You said "as well," as in: in addition to the rewind crank, mentioned in the ad, the wind-on knob is missing as well. I know it was just a dumb mistake and that you know better, but I couldn't resist poking a bit of fun. To tell the truth, I was very surprised that no one else jumped on that bit of the ad immediately. Just from reading the thing, I'd have to guess that whoever wrote it either hasn't got the least iota of a clue what he is talking about or has adapted a pre-written description without paying much attention.

well in that case i'll forgive ya LOL...you should of made it sound like you were joking! i thought you were nit pickin me haha
i just quickly wrote what i was thinking ( as i would talk) when i saw the picture and said 'as well' in referance to the ridiculous high price and saw the wind knob missing. I didnt read the advertisment much--i find those Arsenal ads anoying no end and a waste of time. i wonder how many years this camera will be on ebay for! i am so sick to death of seeing some other camera advertisements of theirs, that have been on there for longer than i can remember
btw i was browsing earlier and saw an Ikonta the same but in reasonable condition for BIN $299...still way overpriced but shows how ridiculous arsenal price is

You can create and save searches on ebay that can filter out up to 10 different sellers. just click on "Advanced Search". go down to the section that says "From Sellers" and select "From Specific Sellers". After this, select the "Exclude" option and enter the seller's ebay ID in the text box provided.
Here are the sellers I don't bother with;
iagroup, pghcamex, photo-arsenal-worldwide, villagegoodies, camera$, arsenall, shphoto-gmbh, photo-arsenal-germany, tuaupe
Feel free to cut and paste the above into the box, and you won't have to see their auctions again.

Yep. I still remember an ad they had for a Kodak folder. They originally wanted $1,500. I see it is still there and they are now asking a little over $300. When they get down to $3 I might be interested, but probably not much.

In some ways the issue with the likes of Photo Arse'nals really rests with the people who keep them in business. Someone must be buying at these prices or Photo Arse'nal would be doing something else, perhaps dealing in hubcaps or midnight auto parts.
What kind of utter imbecile would buy anything at all at the prices they ask?

But they will still charge ya $65 shipping unless ya want insurance then it'll be $85 shipping..

I did ;-) I bought the 101 Years Heliar Bessa-T set from them for $900 including shipping. I rationalised the price for myself in such a way, that the kit also includes LTM to M adaptor (for $55) and 50mm finder (for $145). I then splitted the remaining $700 into two halves - $350 for the 50/3.5 Heliar lens and $350 for green Bessa-T. I then asked myself, if I would pay $350 for the lens or for the camera. I answered myself yes and purchased the kit.
Otherwise I totally agree with what has been said about their prices. In 99% it is just rip off... Another thing that tells something about this eBay shop is that they did not give me any feedback as if they wouldn't care and they probably don't...
